The SRS is delighted to host this online book launch. Rachel Winchcombe, author of Encountering Early America, will discuss her new monograph with colleagues. Her book is a study of English encounters with the Americas in the sixteenth century and their impact on early English understandings of America and changing approaches to exploration and settlement.
