Museums and galleries are important centres for research into the Renaissance and its dissemination. They also actively promote continuing engagement with the Renaissance, and the enjoyment of its material and cultural legacy.
The Society is delighted to have warm links with museums and galleries.
We aim to promote dialogue and collaboration between lecturers, teachers and curators.
In addition, we aspire to be advocates and supporters of Renaissance research projects in museums and archives, particularly in non-national institutions.
The Society also offers a small number of Bursaries for Research for professionals in museums, galleries, libraries, and archives. Full details will be available shortly in the 'Funding' pages.
For more details concerning the Society’s work with Museums, please contact the Museums’ Liaison Officer.
